Bella is 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who was transferred to the Cleveland APL through our dog transfer program. She was a stray who ended up at the City of Cleveland Kennels, and they transferred her to us for adoption. Bella was missing her back right leg and foot but it sure did not slow her down! Bella was adopted during the 2009 Pledge for Pets Radiothon. She was very timid and did not even know how to play with a toy. A short time with her loving family changed all that. Bella’s family even got her a prosthetic leg so she can walk like all her doggy friends.
