Matilda's Story - Some Day Our Paths Will Cross

<< Back

We adopted Matilda, an Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) mix from APL on November 15th, 2008. She was named Matilda by APL, very very clever name as she is more than willing to "waltz" when offered a treatie! She was left tied to the APL loading dock this past October, very pregnant--two weeks later she had four puppies (we were told by the APL staff as we were adopting Matilda that the pups were in foster care) and Matilda was up for adoption once the puppies were of age. Matilda is an absolutely wonderful canine friend to both of her humans and has made many new dog friends in the neighborhood.Of course, as an ACD, she's got lots of energy and is full of affection--Matildaour 3+ mile run/walk early every morning and after work in Lakewood before work have quickly become our special time.

To the families that adopted Matilda's puppies, I hope our paths cross in the dog park one day.

Thank you APL!
