This week I wanted to write all about our 5th Annual Pledge for Pets Radiothon! Thanks to our friends, Wilde and Fee of Q104, our Pledge for Pets Radiothon will take place Friday, April 30, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, May 1, 2010! During those two days, the APL and Q104 will be on air raising money for the animals—and to support the special people who rescue, rehabilitate, and care for them. Over the past four years, the Pledge for Pets This year the Doggy Dollars/Kitty Kash program will be kicked off at the Great Big Home and Garden Show at the IX Center! Wilde and Fee will be hosting a canine fashion show featuring local celebs and their dogs! (Good thing I’m a cat, you couldn’t catch me in couture!!!!!) You can stop by on February 13th from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the main stage to check out the festivities and to get your Doggy Dollars/Kitty Kash information. Anyone can collect Doggy Dollars and Kitty Kash! There are a variety of roles you can play as a participant. You can collect as a DD/KK Individual, as a Q Cash Captain on behalf of your workplace, department, or organization, as a Q Cash Kid, or even as a Q Cash School! The idea is to collect as much change and donations from your friends, family, and fellow workers as you can! It is a really fun program with super cool prizes for all of the top fund-raisers! Keep your eyes on the APL’s website on February 15th to sign-up to be a Q Cash Captain, Q Cash Kid, or a Q Cash School! Or don’t forget your can stop down to the canine fashion show on the 13th! If you were a DD/KK participant last year, keep a lookout in the mail for your renewal information!

It’s Kobe here! Ozzy had a hard time sticking to his New Year’s resolution…so I, his super intelligent brother, decided to take over the blog for him. 
I wanted to tell you about the fun program called Doggy Dollars and Kitty Kash! As part of the Cleveland APL's annual Pledge for Pets Radiothon, the Doggy Dollars Kitty Kash collection launch serves as a sort of Radiothon kick-off' and opportunity for caring individuals like yourself, to have fun soliciting donations for the thousands of animals the APL helps every year. 
We (yes, even Ozzman…hopefully he won’t sleep through the entire broadcast this year!) are so excited for this years event! Everyone’s support means so much to us, the staff, and especially all of the APL animals who will be helped! individual links. sites, or authors listed above.
